ps3-error-report-1 In the new 3.10 firmware apart of well known Facebook feature, Sony has also added an error report feature. So next time you PS freezes (I had lots of freezes especially during DLNA video playback), you’ll get a popup message like this. I am really wondering will that happen to me since I shut down my PS3 manually on on/off button directly on PS3 since my controller is totally unresponsive. Let us know what experience you have with a freezing problem on your PlayStation 3 and if you got the error report popup.

Same issue with DLNA videos freezing, and the new error reporting interface (actually, both the freezes and the error reporting are new in 3.10, at least for me). From what I’ve seen, it *only* occurs on videos that are more then 1 sub-folder down. And, it always occurs at the very start of the video.

BTW, Sony tech support should be re-named to something more appropriate. From what I can tell, they are fundamentally devoid of any actual technical info.
